What are organic nanofibers ?

Organic nanofibers transfer nanoproperties to the macroscopic world.

Organic nanofibers are a new class of nanoscaled, fiber-like materials made from simple organic molecules by a bottom-up growth process. Typically they have widths in the range of several hundred nanometers, heights in the range of several ten nanometers and lengths between micrometers and millimeters. They are crystalline with extremely well oriented molecular basis units, and they are very well mutually aligned. The fibers can be straight
